Summer of Courage
If you told me last year that the kids would be jumping off the piling this year, I’d say you were crazy. Well, the kids have been doing just that, and they’re loving every minute of it. Their mother, on the other hand, is not amused.
Wish I was there now…
It’s frick’n hot up here in the city tonight, so this photo taken at Point Judith a few weeks ago is well in order. I can just feel that breeze now. Time to retreat to the bedroom where the AC is cranking, but can’t move, sticking to the couch.
Nigel goes Tubing (not a typo)
We went tubing over the weekend, and so did Nigel – no big surprise there. Nigel waited patiently for his turn, and it took little prompting for him to join me for the last go-around. Despite his obvious excitement before the ride, he appeared quite bored during his turn.
New Day Dawning

…which translated means – I can’t move with all this equipment strapped to my back. Anyhow, this was the first dive of the summer, and it went well. There was virtually no current and a few fish, known as Tautog, showed themselves long enough to be speared. You don’t know what you’re missing until you’ve eaten Tautog.
