I thought this was a pretty cool effect. I took the shot with the iPhone. I then used an iPhone app called Photoshop mobile. The app comes with a filter that converted the original photo (bottom) to the one above. I think it’s called a sketch filter.
Martin and I went at it online last night playing Modern Warfare 2 on the PS3. I think we could call it a draw.

When I saw this Cardinal, I knew opening the sliding glass door would scare it away. So I took this shot through the door, knowing it wouldn’t come out that great. It turned out to be one of my better shots. The glass door actually had the effect of blurring the background, which added a nice contrast to this very red bird.
A Lightroom 2 filter gave this icicle a more interesting look.

I was driving through the neighborhood on the way home tonight when I noticed all the Christmas lights. Seems like we’re always the last ones to get them up. I made a mental note to get them up this weekend, and that’s when I saw our house. A nice surprise…
I thought this was pretty cool. I used Photoshop to change the color of Dad’s truck – it WAS red. I’m still waiting on his email response on the emasculation of his truck.
The rug rats turned eight today. Punching bag for Eric and a toy horse for Christy – for her American Girl doll.
