His BEST game yet….
Eric really played well on Saturday. He made a textbook corner kick, complete with a nice high arc, dropping it right in front of the goal. His team mates didn’t capitalize on the opportunity, but still it was a beautiful chip shot. He went on to score his very first goal later in the game. All this earned him the “outstanding player” pin for this game. I am incredibly proud.
Keep still, will ya?
Irene left a mess…and where was dad?
It’s been about a week since Irene left town. I hope the door didn’t hit her _____ on the way out. Anyhow, the mess she left was pretty bad. She left the lights off for many thousands of people in Rhode Island, not to mention for a lot of other peeps along the east coast. Some still don’t have power. All this and dad apparently went MIA for a while. His phone lines were down, and he’s not one for having his cell phone on his person. But he’s fine, and his sister (Aunt Marjorie) and nephew (Neil) in the UK can rest easy (they had called Keith asking about his whereabouts).
Live storm coverage (pre-recorded) was provided by Eric and Christy.
