Another favorite spot of mine, for sunsets, is Haines Park in East Providence. So when we’re not up to driving to Bristol (a whole whopping 20 minutes more), then Haines Park is a solid “Plan B.” Rarely disappoints.
I took this with my iPhone, somewhere in the woods of Brickyard Pond in Barrington. The iPhone’s small size makes it ideal for trying unique vantage points. For this shot I placed it on the ground among the dandelions. Storm and Thunder were kind enough to endure this interruption in our walk.
This tulip was clearly on fire, until I realized it was clearly not. Some natural color and lighting was to blame for my completely understandable reaction.
