I was nearly at the beach house when I spotted a group of Great Egrets wading in the tall grass about a 100 yards from the street. I pulled into the lot, grabbed the telephoto lens, walked back – quickly – and took what I later discovered was an out-of-focus shot. Good job I photographed the damn street on the way back. Never leave empty handed.
