"Dad’s the Best!"
The kids have been good (they’re always good), so I picked up Mario Kart during lunch yesterday. They were ecstatic. It’s early morning Saturday, and I expect them to come down any second for their steering wheels.
Go ahead and jump!
Eric and Christy can never keep still. The two refer to this dock, near the beach house, as “Storm-a-long Dock.” Even they have no idea where this name originated. I guess it’s not important.
A real tear jerker…
I just saw for the first time my Sweet Pea teary eyed during a sad scene in a movie. Luckily this one has a happy ending. I asked Christy, age 7, the name of the movie, and it’s called Felicity.
Hey, Dad. Can we take the BIG hill?
This is a question my daughter, Christy, often asks me when we’re nearing home. I suppose Wallmer Avenue would be a “big” hill…to a seven year-old.

Christy makes contact with the ball – a hard hit, but it was picked up by the pitcher, and poor Christy was thrown out at first.

Not sure who’s more excited… the kids, or me. The kids are playing on different teams this year. Christy plays for the Rockies, and Eric plays for the Indians. Last year they played on the same team, but that was “when they were little.”
