Approximately 45 minutes later I was able to determine that this board is 37 “inches” long. And now I can’t remember why I was measuring it in the first place.

Reprehensible behavior
You see when you pee…
I had this one blown up, framed, and nailed to the wall in the downstairs bathroom. I held off for a while because I finally found a wooden frame with a “drift wood” texture about it. It’s too bad about the sap whose painting of a rowboat was surgically removed (by me after leaving Walmart). All’s fair in love and war.
Haven’t got time for the pain.
Christy (left) inadvertently kicks the ball high and into the face of an opposing Cranston player during today’s game. No need to take a knee on this one, because the opponent shrugged it off and continued to play hard against our girls. I hope Christy can shrug off a hit like that when it’s her turn to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. Anyhow, our girls held onto the lead in the end. Click here for more photos.
Top of the order…Let’s go! Let’s go!
OMG. Look at the dust on my car.

This victory is sealed.

I won the staring contest with this seal on Cape Cod. They’re not so tough. I can’t believe these guys actually hunted down and killed Bin Laden.
Battleship Cove
Below, Eric contemplates an endless array of machinery in the dark, cramped bowels of the USS Massachusetts. The claustrophobic conditions and constant smell of industrial lubricants were nauseating. Step back 70 years – now add to that the ear splitting sounds of the ships engines at full throttle while Japanese ships and planes are gunning for you. More photos of our trip on Flickr…
The Turkey Next Door
So the kids and I were minding our own business in the backyard, kicking the soccer ball around, when our neighbor starts scratching on one of those turkey calls. It was a little annoying, but I had to admit, it sounded pretty darn real. To make a long story short, it wasn’t the neighbor, it was a very real Tom. We knew for certain when the large uncooked poultry launched itself into the air and roosted in the neighbor’s tree. I ran for the camera, knowing that the shot would be meh. The video also has a cheap quality, but the memory will be priceless.
