Starting out (in Color)
My nephew, Jared, and his new wife, Jill, look for the exit during their wedding last year. I used Apple’s Aperture 3 to turn the photo into B&W, and then paint the color in where it counted most.
It’s not always black & white.
….meaning, I’m not sure which photos might look cool in black & white. This one of Barrington Cove maybe? Does this do anything for anybody? Crickets.

We were at a farm in Warren, RI when Christy spotted this in the back. Every farm should have an old Coke truck and bath tub.
A Pair of 62’s
I shot these two during a rain-soaked game today. Adam, on left, plays for the Townies. Manchester was sporting the Patriots “vintage” uniforms.
Christy’s competitive soccer game in Middletown was rained out.
Like they were traffic cones…
Christy weaves in and out to avoid opponents during AYSO action today. She made it look easy, but she knows tomorrow will be different. There are NO traffic cones in the competitive league. All the same – YOU GO GIRL!
First Junior PeeWee Home Game
Just out of view are the field crews getting the field ready for the team’s first home football game. Other than that, there’s not much action at 6:30 in the morning. Yawn.
Next week? Christy has a soccer double header. Man, I love this time of year.
First Play of the First Game
The Townies lost the opening coin toss, so the Edgewood Eagles would receive the ball. The Townies kickoff unit took the field, and with them was Eric (#22) playing in his first game ever. What happened next is something I never expected. The photos tell the rest.
