It mattered to this one.

I snuck up on this jelly fish. It didn’t run from me, so in appreciation I returned it to the water.

After hours in Bristol

One of my favorite locations for sunset shots. A burger at Thames Waterside Bar&Grill rounds out the evening.

Taking it all in.
Boardwalk plantlife.
Through the trees.
A cleat waits for a line.

This tulip’s on fire.

This tulip was clearly on fire, until I realized it was clearly not. Some natural color and lighting was to blame for my completely understandable reaction.

Never again…unless.

Never bring your Labrador on a photo shoot – you’ll only get one shot, unless you’re into noses, then you’ll get another. April shenanigans.

It wouldn’t shut up – the whole time.

Trying a 30-second exposure on a babbling brook. A nice, serene location just down the street, tucked away next to a gaggle of office buildings. Easily missed from the road.

We were itching for April

You can only take so many photos of backyard birds before going cuckoo, so we were off to Bristol for some non-bird photos. We love the Bristol waterfront, and being just 20 minutes away, it’s a must-visit locale.

Calm and cool on Hundred Acre Cove

Thunder and Storm wait patiently while the silly hooman takes a (too) long exposure. I’m not worthy.

A little wet. A little cold. And just plain little.

Backyard birding helps pass the time during the coldest, wettest days of winter.

A waterfall in Hope, RI. It was my shiny object of the weekend.

All we had was Hope

We took a Sunday drive to a place called Hope Village in Scituate, RI. The Hope Dam (and waterfall) was the weekend’s shiny object.
