A road more traveled.

I was nearly at the beach house when I spotted a group of Great Egrets wading in the tall grass about a 100 yards from the street. I pulled into the lot, grabbed the telephoto lens, walked back – quickly – and took what I later discovered was an out-of-focus shot. Good job I photographed the damn street on the way back. Never leave empty handed.

Wrench in the works

Shiny objects: The first stop on Block Island was the car rental place. There was a bit of a line, so instead of twiddling my thumbs, I figured I’d get a shot of these glistening objects. But not just any shot; I wanted some depth of field, etc. Make it real artsy, or so I tried.
